Pneumococcal colonization means synergism with sars cov2 ad disease expression. 13-valent pneumococcal vaccination reduces death/severity/incidence by some 30 percent, upto 90 days preexposure to antibiotics similar. 13-valent vaccination reduces surface colonization by pneumococci, 23 valent does not.
