Also measure the length adding in the drop on one side. This will give you a perfect size to look for although you may not be able to find a comforter that is exactly that size.

Fluffy pillows and plush comforters are a big no no in the crib of a newborn due to the chances of the baby possibly suffocating. Tightly fitted thin sheets are ideal for the cribs mattress.

The design should have a lot of fluff, swirls, and curls. Try thinking about what little girls favorite thing are: flowers, clouds, hearts, stars, dogs and other babies.
