Lap quilts and baby quilts are very easy to create on an embroidery machine.<br><br>Because of their smaller size, baby quilts are much easier to make than a normal sized quilt, and can be put together more quickly. Consider using fabric scraps from another project, and simply cut them into blocks, or strips that you can easily match and piece together to produce a beautiful quilt for baby. By using flannel for your batting, the blanket that you quilt will be warm and cozy.<br><br>Blanket Quilt Holiday Quilts. Making quilts associated with special holidays, Easter, Christmas, Halloween, Passover, etc. People tend to dress their homes for holidays so producing quilts with holiday themes meets the need of the customer.<br><br>For each block you want to make also cut a five-sided piece of solid fabric. Then denim is a very durable fabric and is also heavy enough so that the wind will not blow it around on your picnic or at the beach.<br><br>If you have the means to give a big item as a gift, you can still have it personalized. Again, personalization makes an impression. Have baby's initials put on his or her crib or armoire.<br><br>Be sure and press each piece over the seam allowance as you go and to use rectangular pieces and cut back for more shapes and sizes after each go-around.
